The Fire Administrator's Office (FAO) corrdinates that administrative efforts of the town's four volunteer fire companies.  The FAO oversees human resource functions, including recruitment and rentention of volunteer firefighters in town, as well as administering the town's firefigher incentive program. In addition, the FAO oversees the completion of fire incident reports, ensuring each is complete and accurate.  The FAO coordinates purchasing, inventory control and disposal of myriad items related to the fire service.  The FAO servies as a communications conduit between the four independent town copmanies by chairing the Board of Fire Chiefs and other funtional committees.  Finally, the FAO is the fire companies' liaison to the Town Managers Office and other departments at Berlin Town Hall.
